Our Paramedic of the year boasts a life long career of emergency services working in both paid and volunteer fire services, ground EMS and flight services.
He continues to serve in all of those areas, giving his absolute best to every patient he encounters.
His level of compassion is unmatched & the respect he has earned from the EMS community is apparent every time you arrive on scene with him. He brings a level of calm to every situation allowing other providers to learn and patients to feel at ease and have the best possible outcome.
He takes an active part in new hire trainings instilling in them not only a solid work ethic, but an excellent process for which to get things done. He is humble in all that he does, never seeking attention or recognition for the work he has done.
Having served EMS since high school, his longevity in EMS is commendable but to hear him say he still thinks it’s fun & actually see him loving the work he does is truly a refreshing sight in the difficult world of EMS. He is a role model, an excellent clinician and someone everyone is glad to work alongside.
