Our service spotlight for this issue features Newton County Ambulance District, a county-based EMS agency located in southwest Missouri and includes south Joplin, Neosho, Seneca, Granby, Diamond, Fairview, Stella, and Wentworth.

Miller County Ambulance District covers about 550 square miles from densely populated areas around Lake of the Ozarks to spread out rural farmland and runs approximately 4,500 to 5,000 calls per year.

For this issue, we spotlight the Lee’s Summit Fire Department (LSFD), a fire-based EMS operation that is in Jackson County, Mo. and a suburb of Kansas City.
