The School of Health Sciences at Lindenwood University invites applications for an assistant/associate professor of paramedicine.
Qualified applicants will possess an MS or PhD, preferred in EMS or closely related field with specialization in emergency medicine. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 4 courses (12 credit hours) each semester on emergency medicine. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching online. All Lindenwood faculty members are expected to advise and mentor students, continue to develop their expertise through research and scholarship, and participate in faculty governance and campus life.
The assistant/associate professor of paramedicine is a full-time, 12-month faculty position that will begin August 2020. Review of applications will begin January 15, 2020 and will continue until the position is filled.
This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction using integrative technologies. The faculty instructor participates in the assessment, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of program curriculum. The instructor conducts classroom, skills lab, and online instruction for EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic courses and coordinates student advising for the Paramedicine Program.
