New Positions - Lone Jack Fire Protection District

The Lone Jack Fire Protection District (LJFPD) is seeking applications to fill six newly created full-time  positions and to establish a future hiring list. 

The Lone Jack Fire Protection District (LJFPD) is in Jackson County, on the east side of Kansas City in  Western Missouri. It encompasses 56 square miles and has a rapidly growing population of just under  10,000, which has grown over 56% in the last 5 years. The LJFPD is a combination fire department  staffed with a full-time Fire Chief, Deputy Chief, 6 full-time firefighter/EMS personnel, and 35 part-time  firefighter/EMS personnel. Full time personnel work a 48/96 schedule (48 hours on duty/96 hours off  duty). 

Positions:

  • FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC Starting Salary $48,864
  • PARAMEDIC (Not currently certified with FF I and II) Starting Salary $45,810
  • FIREFIGHTER/EMT Starting Salary $41,534
