The Missouri EMS Association and Kansas EMS Association are partnering with the Missouri Primary Care Association, Kansas Primary Care Association, and HRSA Region 7 Office to bring this first-time event to the Midwest. This premier resource will provide attendees with a robust showcase of mobile integrated healthcare (MIH) best practices, policy and infrastructure developments, technology, and opportunities for education and training of direct service personnel.
Find solutions to increase engagement of patients in primary care, reduce unnecessary and preventable visits to the hospital emergency room, generate revenue through telehealth visits and other billables, leverage partnerships to reduce administrative costs, and so much more.
Sessions will focus on primary care, chronic disease, SUD/OUD, maternal health, and workforce, with sessions on innovative programming, quality data metrics, unique partnerships, and sustainability, among others. There will be sessions geared for both community and organization leadership as well as clinical and direct service personnel, with continuing education available for EMS, nursing, and behavioral health.
HRSA Associate Administrator Jim Macrae has been invited to present the Opening Keynote. Colleagues from across the Midwest and the United States will be invited to attend, including C-suite executives from EMS agencies, federally-qualified health centers, hospitals, rural health clinics, fire departments, law enforcement, home health and hospice, funders, policy-makers, education institutions, statewide associations, federal and state government representatives, MIH subject matter experts, along with clinical/direct service personnel seeking education and training opportunities that offer continuing education.
We encourage those attending the summit to also register for the entire rural health conference the following day. More information and a registration link is below.
