Mike Hall
Our Instructor / Coordinator of the year has been a paramedic with the St. Charles County Ambulance District for approx. 17 years.
He has served as the primary paramedic instructor for the last several years, mentoring under Dr. Kim McKenna. With those large shoes to fill, he has risen to the occasion.
He has worked diligently to address the student’s needs, as well as the many preceptors and adjuncts required to support their education.
Despite this enormous growth and increase in workload, he has continued to drive student success, and his graduates are some of the most sought-after employees in our region.
He is a dynamic facilitator of learning and always gives students many hands-on learning opportunities with each lesson. He sets exceptionally high standards and expectations for every student and then empowers them with the tools to achieve academic and clinical excellence.
Also, post-COVID, our Paramedic Programs have been blessed with 47 students, which is double the previous year’s enrollment.
He has taken on the challenge of the additional workload without complaint or diminishing student expectations.
In addition, he always goes the extra mile to help students. He frequently meets with students outside normal class time to provide tutoring and even provides evening review sessions, which takes time away from his wife and three children.
Our instructor of the year is Mr. Mike Hall from SCCAD.
