From ER, ICU and OB…. To air medical and now ground EMS, our awardee this year has worked in many different roles as a nurse in the hospital and out in the field.

She is always looking for ways to help others understand EMS concepts and does so without judgement.

She is approachable and energetic. She cares about patients and her colleagues. She has integrity and does exactly what she says she will do.

She presents EMS subjects across the country, writes articles and CE for our industry’s publications, and still finds time to help in the Nurse’s Office at her grandchildren’s school in her hometown.

It is our honor to present this caring, always-learning, leader in our industry with the nurse of the year award in Missouri to Janet Taylor.
